Permanent acitivities, functions!

Our goals were a lot more far-reaching than everyday activities. The conditions neccesary for everyday functions are provided by the Pannon Music Association. Following the extraordinary success  in New York the Pannon Children’s Choir is constantly receiving invitations to the US and a number of European countries. The choir’s travelling, procurement of music sheets and uniforms require a lot of attention and costs. Further expenses include visas, insurance, and other additional costs. Our Association constantly seeks the possibility  for the Children’s Choir to meet the highest artistic standards. Thanks to these efforts we recieve new invitations from New York to participate in various Broadway productions and concerts in Carnegie Hall. We were also offered concert opportunites in Washington D.C., San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and othe big cities. The most challenging invitation, however, came from Missoula, Monatna, where the Children’s Choir is invited as the only Hungarian ensemble. We are going to perform together with high-prestige international choirs from all over the world, and we are going to introduce the outstanding Hungarian choral music. The decision was made, the children’s parents offered coverig significant part of the costs. To our best hopes the Pannon Children’s Choir will introduce itself at this prestigious world event in July 2019. Our journey to the US will cover a number of other concerts in various cities. The major part of the financial support will be canalised into implementing this goal. We do beleive that besides us many people think that the outstanding pieces of the Hungarian music heritage should be performed at such high-prestige world events by our talented children. This and similar causes make it neccessary to raise funds which can be used independently of the routine activities and functions.
