Our music association is strongly committed to high quality choir-music, based on Zoltán Kodály’s pedagogical method, which defines our activity in Hungary and abroad.

Debuted in New York City


The Pannon Music Association was established in 2015. Two years later a miracle came true: we were invited to organize a concert trip to Carnegie Hall, New York, where Pannon Children’s Choir (maintained by PMA) performed.

On-going activities


The choir’s daily routine work is sponsored by the membership fees,sponsors’ offerings and other incoming donations.
The members of the association do not accept payment for their work.

Goals and activities

CCreating new music ensembles, formations, and cultural communities (performers and receivers).
Providing music education focusingon competences of different age groups.
Looking after talents.
Running and sponsoring the new groups in the long run,, documenting and publicising their performances.
Organising high quality music programmes for children and young people from Pécs and the region in an effort to meet their demand for self expression andto satisfytheir artistic interests.
High-quality fulfillment of the public’s culturaldemands and active participation in the process of audience education.
Constructive cooperation in performing joint artistic programmes with other music organisations.
As a main goal, we wolud like to contribute to the preservation oftraditional Hungarian choir-culture by performingnew Hungarian and foreign choirworks enriching the choir members’ personality and qualification.
Propagating Hungarian and foreign choir-music in our homecountry and abroad.
Applying and continuing Zoltán Kodály’s pedagogical tradition, and taking care of his mental and spiritual heritage.
Providing opportunities for young and talented singers, musicians and conductors to gain and share experiences.
Training high quality singers for choirs.
